How to Play

The same core loop runs through all three modes: draft a squad, pick your XI, simulate the result.

T20 Blast

Your Squad

Spin the county, then spin the year. Each spin picks a player from that county's history. Build a squad of 18, then draft an XI for every match.

The Season

16 group games against the other county sides, then Quarter-Final, Semi-Final and Final on Finals Day. Win them all and you've gone 19-0.

Settings

Difficulty controls how many re-spins you get during the draft. Rating mode chooses whether a player is rated for their specific season or their career prime. Budget mode caps your squad at a fixed spend, so you can't just draft the highest-rated player at every slot.

Test Cricket

Your Squad

Spin a squad of 15 England Test players, each pick tied to a specific era. Select an XI for every Test match, so depth and balance across batting, bowling and keeping all matter.

Form & Events

Player ratings move throughout the cycle: runs and wickets push form up, poor performances drag it down. Off-pitch events can land at any time, tabloid storms, injuries, dressing-room bust-ups, and how you handle each one affects the squad going forward.

Conditions

Home and away conditions change what wins matches. Seamers thrive in England, spinners dominate in South Asia, flat pitches in the subcontinent favour batters. The same XI won't work everywhere.

The WTC Cycle

Six series across the cycle, including a five-match Ashes, home and away against the best sides in the world. Top the table to reach the WTC Final at Lord's. Win there and you're World Test Champions.

World Cup

Your Squad

Spin a squad of 16 World Cup players from any nation and any era. Each spin picks a nation, a year, and a player. Whichever nation has the most players in your squad is the team you represent.

Format

One innings per side, 50 overs maximum. Win by wickets while chasing, or defend your total. No draws.

Tournament Stages

Group Stage: 14 teams, 2 groups of 7. Your XI plays all 6 other teams in Group A, and the top 3 advance.

Super Sixes: the 6 qualifiers from both groups join one table and play 3 new matches, only against the qualifiers from the other group. Points already earned against qualifying teams from your own group carry forward.

Semi-Finals & Final: the top 4 from the Super Sixes reach the semis. Win both and you lift the Cup.

Form

Form shifts match by match. Big scores and wicket hauls push ratings up, poor performances pull them down. Rotate your XI to manage workloads across the tournament.
