19-0 is run by an individual as a fan project, not a company. George Hughes, trading as 19-0, is the data controller for the information described below. Contact details are at the bottom of this page.
You can play the whole game without creating an account. Your progress (high score, run count) is saved locally in your browser using localStorage and never leaves your device.
If you register, we store your username, email address, and a hashed PIN (never your PIN itself) so you can sign back in, resume saved runs, and appear on the leaderboard. This is stored with our database provider, Supabase.
If you complete an unbeaten World Cup run, you can optionally enter a prize giveaway run with our partner OddBalls. Entering collects your first name, last name, and contact email, and requires you to confirm you accept the giveaway Terms & Conditions and that you're a UK resident aged 18 or over. If you win, we share your name and email with OddBalls so they can contact you and arrange your prize. We don't share this with anyone else.
If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data: which screens are visited, how often a run is completed, that kind of thing. No name or email is ever included in this data. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no usage data is collected; the game works identically either way.
19-0 shows ads served by Google AdSense to help cover hosting costs. AdSense may set its own cookies and use device identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads based on your activity across other sites, in line with Google's own privacy policy. We don't control what AdSense collects; see Google's policy below for how to opt out of personalised ads.
We never sell your data to anyone.
Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. Giveaway entries are kept until the draw is complete and, for the winner, until the prize has been sent; all entries are then deleted within 30 days of the draw.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or object to how it's used. Email us (below) and we'll action it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you think we've mishandled your data.
19-0 isn't directed at children, and the OddBalls giveaway is restricted to UK residents aged 18+. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
You can change your cookie preference at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer of the main game.
